Spring Turkey Success!!

After a long three days of hunting with very few gobbles heard or birds seen, Michelle Pollock (RedRock Bowmen member) was able to get close enough to harvest this great tom!
We experienced just about every kind of weather possible — rain, snow, wind, sleet, hail, and freezing temperatures, and more…
The birds were quiet and not very responsive, we were able to talk to this “boss tom” just enough to keep him in one spot and get close and pull him away from the group just enough to get a shot!
The tom had a 9 inch beard and 1-1/4 spurs.
